Lakeside Home

Welcome to my tribute to Lakeside Amusment Park. Lakeside was open in Dayton, Ohio from 1890 to 1967. It was at West end of the White Line/Peoples trolley line across from the Old Soldier's Home (now the VA Hospital). This site is still under construction. I haven't touched this in a couple of years but figured it was time to get it back up. I am working on updating this site with all of the information that I can find about Lakeside. Some of the info is not quite right. The history section in particular is a bit rough. I'll see what I can do about that. Dayton is very tough on history. It tends to ignore its most precious landmarks.
